I'm sure we all have a lot to be thankful for this year. Woudn't a victory over USC be one more great thing to add to the list?!
Come on down to Barwest at 2724 J Street to cheer on the UCLA Bruins football team as they take on the USC Trojans for the last game of the year.
We will be upstairs in the private room with the USC Alumni Club of Sacramento. Wear your blue and gold, bring your 8-clapping hands, and join us on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m.

Due to a lack of interest from both golfers and sponsors, we have been forced to cancel this year's golf tournament. We have tentatively rescheduled it for August 11, 2012. We would like to thank those of you who did express interest. We would also like to thank the members of our Tournament Committee who have worked so hard to put this event together to try and raise scholarship monies for Sacramento students looking to attend UCLA in the fall.

The Club's 14th Annual Bruin Golf Classic Tournament, BBQ, and Silent Auction will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Wildhawk Golf Club in Sacramento. This "Team Scramble" tournament is open to all Club members, Alumni, and friends of UCLA.
Golfers and non-golfers, foursomes and single golfers, are all welcome. Your participation will help the Club reach our goal of raising $5,000 to benefit our scholarship fund. There is room for 60 golfers with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
Following the tournament will be a great BBQ and Silent Auction at 1:00 p.m. Non-golfers are encouraged to join the fun at the BBQ and Silent Auction for just $15. Kids eat free.
Your $150 registration includes:
- 18 holes of golf,
- electric golf cart,
- range balls,
- longest drive prizes,
- closest to the pin prizes,
- best team score prizes,
- UCLA golf shirt, and
- BBQ lunch.
Registration forms are due by Friday, July 29th.

Join your fellow UCLA Alumni along with other Sacramento area alumni from Berkeley, Yale, and Univ. of Virginia at an unique midtown event of wine tasting at Revolution Wines on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 6:00pm.
Revolution Wines is an urban winery based in Sacramento. Its ambiance is unmatched in any local wine venues. While they are not a wine bar, they do have a tasting room. Yes, Revolution Wines is a winery in midtown – they receive grapes from growers and then crush, ferment and age the wine on site: pretty cool eh?
This night will meet any wine taster's desires: order a glass of wine, a bottle of wine or a flight of wine samples to go along with your gourmet small plates. Whatever your liking, come join us at our table to socialize, drink and network. Food and beverage at cost to attendees — each guest will pay their own tabs. No RSVP required - see you there!
